MWA works with a highly select portfolio of great clients. They choose MWA because of our unique combination of strategy development, creativity and integrity. We believe in being honest about a potential client being a good fit for us, so that ultimately the experience will be successful for both parties. We don’t just represent anyone. We know what works for our company and work to over- achieve for our clients to make sure we maintain long-standing, mutually rewarding relationships.
The City of Austin’s Small Business Development Program was looking for ways to support and grow the local economy by helping business owners find the resources they need, and for some, meet potential lenders. Tapping into our creative team, we developed marketing materials for various programs and projects and provided media relations for citywide events targeting business owners.
Community Engagement / Corporate Social Responsibility
MFI Real Estate and Escobedo Construction have partnered on a multi-purpose community development project in East Austin located on MLK Boulevard. Their goal in developing the land and donating part of it to three notable nonprofit organizations was to fulfill the Chestnut Neighborhood Plan, the first ever adopted by the City of Austin. The plan identified seven issues of concern: transportation, environment, housing, economic development, public safety youth and health. MWA was retained to develop and implement their community engagement strategy and build support and awareness around the project.
Event Management and Activation
Our team has more than 50 years of combined event management and execution. As with all of our communications efforts, we start with a plan, stir in a heaping helping of creativity and top it off with careful execution. When Austin City Manager, Marc Ott, was set to celebrate his five-year anniversary, MWA was called in to create the concept, script development, and all other logistics.
Having recently moved his foundation to Texas, Andy Roddick needed a team to help him with his community and media relations strategies. MWA stepped in to collaborate with the Andy Roddick Foundation (ARF) in its mission to develop and inspire deserving youth through sports-based mentoring and education, preparing them to succeed in the game of life.
